Qualified Referrals
- Must be submitted before Boardwalk Custom Builders is actively pursuing the project or relationship
- Must result in an awarded contract
- The referring party must play a meaningful role in the introduction or relationship development
- Referral compensation is based on project size and profitability
Duplicate referrals or overlapping introductions will be reviewed internally.

For Projects Under $1 Million

Flat referral fee
$100K – $300K
$1.5K
$300K – $750K
$3K
$750K – $999K
$5K
for projects over
$1 MILLION
$5,000 Flat Referral Fee
+2-5% of net profit, depending on:
- Project size
- Relationship involvement
- Long-term partnership value
Percentage amounts will be determined on a project-by-project basis and outlined in writing before payment.
Payment Terms
Referral payments are not paid upfront and are contigent upon successful collection of project funds.
For projects with profit-sharing agreements, payment timelines may follow the project draw schedule or final project closeout.
Payment Methods
Referral payments may be issued through:
- Check
- ACH / direct deposit
- 1099 contractor payment
A W-9 may be required prior to payment
