At Boardwalk Custom Builders, we’re excited to share that we partnered with Rich Development to take on the unique challenge of renovating a multifamily apartment complex, correcting significant framing mistakes in the existing structure.
Project Challenge
Numerous errors in the existing framing created major complications, including the absense of fire-rated materials on exterior walls. To correct these deficiencies, the project required demolition and complete re-framing with fire-rated materials and metal bracing. On top of that, installing shoring was a new task for our team, adding to the technical challenge.

Through adaptability and precise execution, our team corrected the deficiencies, rebuilt the structure to code, and delivered a reliable, safe renovation. Despite the challenges, the project was completed on schedule, showcasing Boardwalk’s commitment to quality and problem-solving.
